Rememto

Our studio's semester-long speculative project was intended to get us to think about how technology can change in the near future and then design a product which focused on fusing the physical aspects of design with the digital. To fit within the parameters of the project's scope, I designed a product called Rememto that uses hologram technology embedded in a simple wristwatch to bring the human connectedness of social media platforms into the real world.

My focus was on the idea of sustaining memories that people create. Similar to the way in which people share events from their life on social media platforms, Rememto allows users to experience the specific place in which those memories are made. I took inspiration from Pokemon GO to design the AR function of this product to immerse users in the experience of revealing other's memories.
